Moderate to heavy shelf wear, The Boards have some heavy cloth discoloration to the spine, and this extends onto the front, with two white marks at the rear board at the top and a few ripples to the front boards cloth. There is rubbing to both the top board edges and bottom edges, no cardboard is exposed. Some light fraying to the cloth at the corners, but not bumped. Previous owners sticker to the bottom of the front past down with some penned writing to this. Foxing to the free end papers Large un-personalised inscription with signature from Author to the front free end paper. There is some moderate spotting to the free end papers and past downs. A very small chip to the top corner of the front free end paper and the first blank. The top edge has a few spots and small marks while the fore edge and bottom edge are relatively clean. Moderate tanning to the pages. the text block is clean throughout. It’s a shame about the cover due to the fact that the contents inside are in very good condition for its age.
