Pale boards - a good deal of age related wear - rubbing/marking/discolouration to the paper surface - tears and rubbing to the edges
Despite this large amount of wear the boards the boards are intact, in one piece and are holding the pages very well
As you open the front cover you see some marking on the dark endpapers - seen at the back too - however, they are intact and sound
You then see a beautifully written inscription in pen dated 1906
The title page and illustrated frontispiece are in great condition - clear and just slight browning on the very edge - minimal
Then as you turn the pages of the book you see they are all intact and in great condition
