This Victorian art glass vase is blown of cased glass with applied floral motifs.The interior of the rim begins with a blue colour and spreads to opal glass.
Exterior is opal custard coloured glass and glows neon green under a black light.
Large bulbous shape with hand tooled, crimped rim.
Polished pontil on the base.
The applied flower is a unique design of a stylized Orchid flower. The flower is tubular shape with three petals. The tubular form of the flower is cased glass with a layered colour mix of pink, opal white and dark amber. The three applied petals are pink opalescent glass.
Multiple sections of vibrant green leaves are applied through out the bowl. The green leaves are applied over two amber coloured stems, and each stem. Each applied foot has a three pulls, and the bottom of each foot is polished cut.
Attributed to Early Loetz, Barock production or Bohemian glasshouse, Harrach.
Not marked. Circa. 1885-1895.
