- As soundtracks go, this is an odd one, but you wouldn't expect anything else from a project whose reins are held by the Dust Brothers, who've helped Beck and the Beastie Boys realize their artistic visions. Each of the songs here was written and recorded specifically for this soundtrack, so if you're a completist fan of any of the artists featured, you'll have to get this album. The range of talents is a wide one, from Marilyn Manson (covering Bowie's "Golden Years") to ex-model Twiggy, who essays an unusual version of the Dusty Springfield hit "I Only Want To Be With You." Even the Chemical Brothers pop up, in what must have been the sonic tag-team match of the century, remixing the Dust Brothers tune "Realize."
