For sale is a group of 4 vintage/antique evaporated milk label. The following labels are for sale:

– Frankfurt brand unsweetened evaporated milk packed for Frankfurt grocery Company of Frankfurt, Pennsylvania

– Lafax evaporated milk distributed by Faxons of buffalo

– My-Te-Good brand sterilized evaporated milk exclusively packed for Donahoe’s in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

– Arbuckles pond lily brand evaporated milk from the Arbuckles and Company distributors in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania

Most of the labels that I am auctioning have come from my private collection of evaporated milk labels, and have never been for sale before. Most of these labels are all one offs, as I only have one of them… Not multiples that I’m holding back. If you see something you’re interested in, now is the time to buy it as it may not come up again in the future. Some of these labels are very rare, and I’ve never seen a duplicate in my 20+ years of collecting.

Please refer to the pictures for the actual condition and size of this item. Many of these labels were removed from an old sample book from the 1920s and still may have some glue residue on the back. Many of these labels have some slight imperfections and moderate to heavy damage on them. I have done my best to include close-up pictures of any damage or concerns on them. Please make sure you’ve looked at all of the pictures prior to buying, and contact me if you have any concerns.

These labels came from my private collection, and many of them came right out of the factory where they were produced 100 years ago. The factory was located in Defiance Ohio, and produced a very large amount of Private label evaporated milk - meaning that they would put other peoples label on their canned milk. This was quite common in food manufacturing at the time.

Unfortunately I am not offering returns on any of these labels. I have had buyers in the past purchase these, photocopy the labels, and then return them back to me. I can promise that all of these are original. If you have any concerns or questions about these labels, please contact me in advance of purchasing/bidding.

Shipping and handling on this will be $5.95 to the lower 48 states. If outside of this area, you will pay actual shipping charges. If you are an international buyer, then please contact me if you’re interested in more than one lots… As it may make sense to select local pick up and work out a shipping arrangement for the group instead of doing eBay‘s international shipping program which will get expensive if you have multiple lots.

PLEASE NOTE - Once your item has been processed, packed, and shipped I CANNOT CANCEL ANY ORDERS!!!! If I am in a my workshop and an order comes in, I have a tendency to pack and process right away...sometime within minutes. If you contact me and tell me you have:

- changed your mind

- you accidentally ordered

- your child (or dog) accidentally hit the order button (yes I have been given both as an excuse before)

- you didn't do anything and eBay put the item in your, ordered, and sent payment without your consent (please take this issue up with eBay)

- you thought you were ordering the red leather purse and you don't know how you ended up with my 19th century print of George Washington...

Most of my item have a return policy (required by eBay)....so if you want to follow the procedure, it is within your right to do so. If I haven't shipped the item yet, then I will always do my beset to accommodate any requests.

If you want the item shipped with another item you plan on purchasing from me to save on shipping....you need to let me know in advance.
