This is a Fabulous and Very Colorful Ornate Historic Antique 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Enamel and Golden Double-Headed Mystical Eagle Two-Tier Jewel. The design is quite unique with it’s decorative Domino style patterns. The Eagle is beautifully detailed. Quite a realistic appearance. The workmanship is first-rate. This jewel hails from the Buffalo Consistory in Buffalo New York. The top identifies this piece as being from the La Crosse Scottish Rite. The top-tier has a name on it.. As far as age, it could date back to anytime between the 1910’s to 1930’s. Hard to say.The jewel is in very good vintage condition. No problems. It measures approximately 2 inches in length. HANDSOME AND SYMBOLIC! There is gold color here, but not being jewelers, we do not know if there is any actual gold here or if it is a lovely gold colored metal of some type. Besides, if it were marked for gold, our price would be substantially higher that what we are asking for this gem. It is expertly made by Buffalo New York Jeweler C. C.
