Shams do have wear to the corners. Mainly the ‘top’ corners the way I photographed them. There is wear and a slight discoloration. I tried to capture it in photos next to normal parts of the fabric.

One sham has a few tiny dot stains.

I did wash them, so they are clean. I didn’t soak them-that may help.
