Step1
Open the box and inspect the item. Verify what was received was what you ordered and that the item is free from physical damage or defect.

Step2
Remove the original taillights. If you are having difficulty there are most likely fasteners or alignment tabs hidden. Review the new taillights to help locate the hidden fastenerβs locations. Commonly there are two to four fasteners per light. They may be located behind an interior panel, bumper, trunk lid or tailgate.

Step3
Once the taillights are removed transfer any bulbs or wiring harnesses from the original taillights to the new units. Then plug everything in and test all lights are working correctly. Verify brake light, parking light, turn signal, emergency/hazard and reverse lights.

Step4
If necessary, unplug the new taillights. Install them in the reverse order the originals were removed. Plug the new taillights back in. And verify they are working correctly.
