The C-039-122 Garretson - Impco Replacement KN is a secondary, automatic zero regulator (with manual primer) is designed for maximum sensitivity and simple, trouble free operation. It is suitable for use with low pressure, Natural Gas and LPG Vapor fuels, where dependable starting is required. Because of its extreme sensitivity, the KN offers excellent results in most remote starting applications if installed and maintained properly. Suitable for LP engines up to 30 kW (40 hp) and NG engines up to 22.37kW (30hp). The engine creates a vacuum which acts through the outlet of the regulator on the diaphragm. Atmospheric pressure then forces the diaphragm toward the vacuum, depressing the lever and pulling the valve seat away from the orifice which allows fuel to flow as long as the demand persists. When the vacuum ceases, a spring force pushes on the lever and forces the seat valve against the orifice shutting off the fuel flow. Due to the sensitivity of the C-039-122, most installations do not need priming to start unless low cranking speed or restricted and lengthy piping are required.

We know it can be difficult to find someone to repair LPG converted vehicles. You need someone who can carry out the service and repair of your vehicle and understand the complexity of the LPG system. This is what we do, with many years experience in vehicle diagnostics and repairs plus advanced factory training on many autogas systems. We can keep you on the road and enjoying the benefits of LPG.

With over fifteen years experience in converting vehicles to run on a dual fuel system of petrol and LPG, we have been at the grass roots of autogas technology.

As systems have grown and progressed, so have we.

Mick Bird is up to date with the leading manufacturers, regularly attending advanced training courses. Starting back in 2009 at Bigas.

Then again in 2014 with the introduction of Direct Injection sytems at Emer OMVL.

2018, After a rise in demand from customers with BRC systems, he visited BRC at Cherasco, Italy for advanced training on the latest systems.

More recently he has achieved Prins Autogas approval as it became evident that they are leading the way in Direct injection systems.

But, it’s not all about the latest in technology. He has also attended training courses with Impco - the best systems for older larger engines, and still regularly works on classic vehicles with singlepoint systems.

Mick is also the Director of the UK’s leading supplier of LPG systems and components LPG Auto Supplies Ltd. Working on special projects and helping to deal with technical support for their trade and end user customers.
