Born from Kuat Systems’ construction lines, the “Outpost Sentinel” was an urban-enforcer adapted for perimeter defense on Outer worlds. Missile racks for crowd-control, dual plasma mortars for armor-cracking, and a hardened visor dome with full tactical HUD.
When Imperial garrisons abandoned these remote depots, Rebels refitted surplus Sentinels with heavier plating and sector-police markings. OS-221 units became the backbone of makeshift security details guarding fuel yards, data vaults, and hangar approaches.
Paint & Weathering:
   •   Multi-stage prime with micro-fill to sharpen panel lines before color.
   •   Modulated gunmetal/iron black base for armored depth across torso and limb plates.
   •   Edge pre-shade around hatches and vents to push form under neutral light.
   •   Hand-masked sector blue service panels with controlled sponge-chipping back to steel.
   •   Brush and sponge chipping on knees, elbows, ladder rungs and hatch rims for contact wear.
   •   Pin-washes (Payne’s Grey / dark umber) to sink into bolts, grills, and missile-bay seams.
   •   Oil streaking pulled vertically from fasteners and access panels to simulate rain-dragged grime.
   •   Dry-brush passes in titanium silver to pop rivets, knuckles, and ladder edges.
   •   Graphite rub on leading corners, gauntlets, and boot rims for polished metal sheen.
   •   Heat staining on the twin mortar barrels (blue-violet/brown transitions) with carbon soot at the mouths.
   •   Soot and blast scoring around the rotary vent and shoulder launcher, airbrushed charcoal for plasma residue.
   •   Oxide rust mapping on ankle clamps and rear rams using burnt sienna/black oil blends.
   •   Fuel and hydraulic spills glazed around belly tanks and couplings with satin enamel.
   •   Dust pigments (ochre/ash) packed into tread crevices and piston guards, fixed then partly buffed off for tracked-in grit.
   •   Micro-scratches along cockpit brow and comms housings to suggest tool use and helmet rub.
   •   Unified ultra-matte seal with selective gloss on lenses, gauges and hydraulics for a cinematic finish.
