Left or Right Side Installation The opener can be mounted on either side of the door.

Required Space for Installation You need only 5.2" between the wall and the torsion bar to install the opener. Headroom required is 2" from the ceiling.

Installing Two Openers Between Single Doors Yes, the openers require about 5.5" each. If you have 18.5" between the two torsion bars, you're good to go.

Compatible with Wall Mounted Keypads Yes, the KN-318 keypad is compatible. Please search “Skylink KN-318”.

Difference Between Car Home Button and Visor Remote The car home button is a remote that mounts with 2-sided tape in your vehicle. It’s similar in function to the keychain visor remote.

Compatible Door Types Only compatible with sectional doors. Not for one-piece or roll-up doors.

Maximum Door Size Supports doors up to 180 sq ft (e.g., 12' high × 12' wide). The door must be well balanced and operable by hand.

Weight Capacity The opener will lift any door you can lift manually. Door weight is managed by the spring system.

Opener Can’t Lift Heavy Door If the door is too heavy, check the spring and door balance. Consult a professional if needed.

Manual Operation During Power Outage Yes. Pull the emergency release cable to disengage the motor. A backup battery can also be installed.

Torsion Spring Compatibility Works only with torsion bar setups. Not compatible with side-mounted springs without torsion bars.

No Cable Monitor Included Cable tensioners are included to keep cables tight. If cables are loose, have your door serviced.
