Two Paperback Volumes of Verse-By-Verse Bible Commentaries based on the Greek New Testament by the Respectable Bible Scholar Dr. Ernest R. Campbell, who held to Dispensational Theology: FIRST TIMOTHY (255 Pages, 1983) and SECOND TIMOTHY (193 pAGES, 1983). The condition for the 2 volumes is overall Acceptable + (in my judgement); I am tempted to call it "Good" but there are a couple things that knock down the rating. There are handwritten notes, brackets and underlinings throughout the books, not so much that it's unusable but they are there. On the flyleaf opening page of First Timothy someone wrote in pencil some of what appears to be their "to do" and prayer list, which erks me a bit! The back cover of First Timothy and the front cover of Second Timothy have a small coffee stain on them. Both books have spines that slant some. Along the back spine edge of both books there is color fading to white. There is also some lite edge and corner wear and general mild age-wear. BUT: Both books have Solid Spines, NO pages are falling out, and they are clean and certainly still quite usable! If you can get past the faults, you will can gain rich insights into the Greek word meanings of what the Apostle Paul was writing under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, even if you may not agree with all of Dr. Campbells' dispensational perspectives.

I encourage to read the descriptions of these books found on the back covers seen in Photos 8 + 15. I am not going to type them in manually (there's alot there!) but a few highlights:

*A literal translation of each verse based upon 40 years of studying and teaching the Greek New Testament.

*Three possible translations for every key Greek word.

*A careful balance in the midst of all Biblical truth. Where more than one interpretation is possible, they deal with the merits of the options.

And there are many more highlights in these books written by the late President of Canyonview Bible College and Seminary!
