  • Bezeichnung: Unten rechts in der Druckplatte mit dem Monogramm des Künstlers signiert und datiert: "18 TH 39". Entlang der Blattunterkante in Bleistift mit den Namen der Musikanten bezeichnet. Das Blatt ist unten beschnitten worden. Der originale Streifen mit Titel und Angaben zu Künstler und Verlag liegt bei.

  • Beschreibung: Leicht karikierendes Genrebild mit drei Straßenmusikanten in einer Hof. Radiert "Für die Mitglieder des Vereins der Kunstfreunde in Preussen, 1838".

  • Inscription: Signed and dated lower right in the printing plate with the artist's monogram: "18 TH 39". Inscribed in pencil along the lower edge of the sheet with the names of the musicians. The sheet has been trimmed at the bottom. The original strip with title and details of artist and publisher is enclosed.

  • Description: Slightly caricatured genre picture with three street musicians in a courtyard. Etched "Für die Mitglieder des Vereins der Kunstfreunde in Preussen, 1838".

  • Condition: Defective condition. Foxing is visible on the entire sheet. On the left side there is a printer's crease. The edges have been roughly trimmed and slightly bumped in places.
