Here's your chance to own an extremely-well made piece of history.

This is from 1964, back when Abercrombie & Fitch was an outfitter for high-end outdoor goods... This is a VERY fine box, made from mahogany and finished with brass hardware and a brass presentation plaque -- this tackle box only shows a few very minor dings and scuffs from being moved around during the last 65 years. The original rubber gasket is still in place, and that has dried out and degraded. Comes with original key for the lock.

This box is SOLID, the full-length piano hinge for the lid is strong and tight, and the compartment trays look as if they've never been used.

The attention to detail and craftsmanship are excellent, and the depth and color of the mahogany wood bring me joy every time I look at it. I have no idea who Arthur was, nor do I know much about Lovell Dressel.

The advertisement photo is for reference and measurements, and so you can compare this to the other models that were available at the time.
