Offering a custom-built full size reproduction of vintage Ribbon Microphone with the look and full functionality based on the iconic RCA 77DX! This unique hand-crafted microphone is about the same dimensions as the true RCA 77, all American made, built with a combination of quality materials. The lower casing is molded resin, and there was no 3D printing done on this, so it is light-weight.) This particular build is a one-off, with metal upper screens, RCA type wrap-around ID band, and reproduction RCA style desk stand. Measures 14" tall with 6" x 4" base. It has a few minor physical flaws, but generally very presentable. Sonically, it sounds amazing with all of the rich fidelity of the real deal!(Check out the voice sample on the attached video.)

• Inside is housed a studio-quality ribbon drive (figure-8 polar pattern with 1.8-micron, 2" long  aluminum ribbon with powerful neodymium magnets) and 1:36 transformer. The result is natural tone with bi-direction pattern pickup. It's ready to go, hardwired to a short pigtail with 3 pin male XLR plug. 

Note: We would not recommend taking these "on the road" as they are not physically as rugged as the real RCA 77's and wouldn't fare well being bumped around a lot, but for mostly stationary, limited-handling, personal studio or performance scenarios, this will do just fine.
