Antique Chinese Yixing red clay creamer/pitcher with pewter overlay. Features applied pewter dragons and double-happiness characters. Pewter handle, spout, and fitted lid.
Base impressed “Shanghai China” with Chinese characters (Republic period export mark, c. 1910–1930s).
Size: approx. 5.5 inches tall × 5.5 inches wide.
Condition: age-related wear, dent on base and rim, lid slightly bent, tarnish and patina to pewter, see photos. Still solid and displays well.
Excellent companion piece to similar Yixing pewter-overlay jars and teapots.
