What is jailbreaking?

Jailbreaking is an advanced iOS modification that unlocks additional customization beyond Apple’s default restrictions. You can install compatible tools and “tweaks” through a package manager (example: Sileo or Cydia) and add repos (sources) to browse/install tweaks. Many changes apply after a quick UI restart called a respring.
