This adaptor operates in one direction only: from a compatible digital video source to a VGA display. It cannot convert a VGA source into a digital video input.

This is the no-audio, no-external-power version. VGA carries video only, so sound will not be transmitted through this adaptor.

Some source devices, consoles, streaming boxes or other equipment may require an externally powered converter and therefore may not work reliably with this version. Please check your source-device requirements before purchasing.

A separate VGA cable is required to connect the adaptor to the monitor or projector unless specifically included elsewhere in the listing.
