FocusStep focuser controller is designed for manual and automatic control of the telescope's focusing mechanism motor and can be used both standalone and in computer-controlled mode. To control the focusing mechanism motor, the FocusStep controller uses standard Step/Dir (Pul/Dir) and Ena control output signals. This allows the use of any motor drivers, stepper motors, BLDC, AC, and other servo motors that support Step/Dir (Pul/Dir) control for installation as a motor drive on the telescope's focusing mechanism.

FocusStep is a new version of the focus controller for various DIY projects. FocusStep is designed not only for manual and automatic focusing, but also for automatically maintaining precise focus based on changes in ambient temperature.

FocusStep controller allows focusing directly from a PC using standard astronomical programs such as NINA, APT, AGP, Voyager and other programs that support the ASCOM platform in terms of focusing.
