Chiang Kai-shek was SUPERINTENDENT GENERAL OF OPIUM SUPRESSION COMMISSION and he was taking a harsh course of stamping out the opium trade immediately. Free clinics had been established; taxes were being imposed… This is a wonderful time capsule. It is in fine condition with some vintage corner and edge wear. NOTE THAT THE COVERS HAVE A VERTICAL CREASE. THIS DOES NOT AFFECT THE MAGAZINE INSIDE. It's not mint, but fairly gently read and a tough find! A great piece FOR THE COLLECTOR! Take it home with you!
