Vintage hand painted Norwegian rosemaled wood bowl.  Measures 6" in diameter and is 1-3/4" tall.  The interior features a floral pattern in blues and greens.  The exterior of the bowl has Norwegian text that reads:  Velkommen, min venn, which translates to Welcome, my friend.  Signed on interior by artist "Nan".  The bowl itself was made by Weston Bowl Mill of Weston, Vermont.  Marked on bottom.  This is in excellent vintage condition.  No chips or cracks.  Slight wear to interior paint and a few water marks on the exterior.
