Authentic Austrian Compression Sack Army Surplus Duffel Bag Sleeping Bag OD
Pulled straight from Austrian Army stores, this compression sack turns a loose pile of soft gear into one tight, manageable bundle. A cord-lock top and adjustable webbing straps work together to seal the load and squeeze the air out of it. Carry it by hand on its own, or strap it down to the outside of a rucksack.
- Genuine Army Issue — This one comes out of Austrian Bundesheer stores rather than off a commercial production line.
- Olive Drab Colorway — The classic OD green finish sits quietly in the field and lines up with other standard-issue kit.
- Tough Woven Build — Woven canvas construction stands up to abrasion, rough handling and long stretches in storage.
- Handles Bulk Gear — Roughly 18 inches tall with a 15.5-inch opening, it takes a sleeping bag, jackets or other bulky soft items.
- Cinch Strap System — Adjustable webbing straps pull the load down tight, shrinking pack volume and keeping the contents from shifting.
- Drawcord Seal — The top shuts with a drawcord and cord lock, closing the main compartment before the straps go to work.
- Rucksack Friendly — Use it as a standalone carry sack, or lash it to the exterior of a pack.
- Field And Trunk Use — Sleeping bags, bivy gear, spare uniforms, range gear or emergency supplies kept in a trunk kit all fit the bill.
- Austrian Manufacture — It is made in Austria to Austrian military specification for issued field service.
