Description: Hardcover. 12mo, 16pp. Several clues suggest that this is a single gathering from a larger work. There is no binding; the pages are folded, untrimmed, and uncut. The whole is sound, but fragile, with some stress tears along the un-cut joints. The first leaf has the letter B near the bottom, suggesting that this was the second gathering of leaves in a larger book. Overall about very good, with noted wear and, some light dust-soiling. A significant presentation copy, SIGNED and INSCRIBED by Egan on the front cover to fellow poet and noted bibliophile Eugene Field. Egan was an American diplomat and an accomplished poet.
