This is an original antique 1910 catalog of the Hamilton Brown Shoe Company of St. Louis, Missouri. This catalog is 96 pages plus the soft covers in the original string binding measuring about 9” x 6.5” with the cover title HAMILTON BROWN HOUSEHOLD BOOK. About half the pages in this catalog feature Hamilton Brown Shoes for men, women and children with brands shown including American Lady, American Gentleman, Vassar, American School, Hardware, Terror, Pine Knot, Reaper and more. The other pages feature almanac like content covering topics like weights and measures, facts worth knowing and more. Also included are a couple pages of information on the Hamilton Brown Shoe Company.
The first page of a catalog has photographic frontispiece tipped in for A.C. DePue of Brock, Nebraska that sold the Hamilton Brown shoes and other merchandise in that community. This original antique catalog is fully complete and intact. There is a bit of dust staining and some scattered spots and small stains on the front cover and edges not affecting inside pages.
