Nintendo DS Lite handheld console being sold strictly as-is for parts or repair. Console will power on if a battery is supplied, but this unit does not come with a battery. I included a picture of the battery that WAS in the unit - it looks like at some point it overheated slightly. Again, if you want to turn this unit on, you will need to provide a new battery. 

Additionally, the charging port is broken. It's hard to see in the photos, but it looks like some of the plastic casing around one of the connectors has fallen apart. When I plug in a charger, I get a brief charge indicator light, but then the light goes off and charging does not continue. 

When I supplied the unit with another battery, it worked minus the audio. The directional pad and main buttons on the front of the pad, and the touch screen, were all tested and worked. I forgot to test the back bumpers and do not know if they work or not. I did not test the audio jack, but it looks possibly broken as well, so assume the audio jack is damaged. 

I believe there is a memory card or some sort of slot cover missing from the front, but the unit does come with a snazzy white stylus. 

I did not open the case to investigate the internal issues any further, so I do not know if the problems can be resolved with solder, or if unit systems will need full replacement. Hence, I am selling as-is for parts. 

Final note - the game shown in the photos is not included, I used that for demonstration purposes only.
