Listed for sale is a vintage wand trick by the Tenyo Magic company of Japan.  Specifically, this is their "Chinese Sticks" model T-27 illusion, which when pefrormed correctly leads the audience to believe that the (2) sticks are somehow connected to one another, despite that not actually being so.

There exist newer productions runs of these T-27 sticks; however these particular sticks date from the 1970s (and still work great, as I tested them myself!).  The sticks and strings are in very good condition for their age, while the original retail box is in what I'd call "fair" condition, suffering from a missing end flap and having a piece of old cellophane tape adhered to it.

That said, these would make a fine addition to anyone's collection.
