The briefcase has a combination lock. I don’t know how to set it but currently it opens with triple zeros, 000. The case is at least 40 years old and overall is in great condition. There are a few marks on the leather on the top outside as well as on a couple of the inside pockets (see photos). They can probably be cleaned (I didn’t try). But there are no rips or tears and all the hardware works.
