Here we have a hard-to-find Ford/Mercury Master Cylinder with Cap, Rod with Boot, factory pre-bent Brake Lines, Distribution Valve, Brake Warning Light Switch, Mounting Stud with Bracket.

This is USED and has been cleaned with a solvent cold-tank wash and a Glass beaded lid with gold repaint.

Type: Dual- reservoir cast iron master cylinder

• Application: Drum brake systems (not for disc)

• Mustang & Cougar, and also used across mid-size/full-size Ford & Mercury lines with drum setups

• Service replacement part numbers: Ford often superseded casting numbers with engineering numbers (e.g., C7ZZ, D0ZZ, etc.), so the service part number might not match the casting exactly.

1967–1973 Ford & Mercury passenger cars

• Typically Mustang, Cougar, Fairlane, Torino, Maverick, Comet

• Used on cars with manual drum brakes (front & rear)

• Not used on disc brake setups (those had different bore sizes and port layouts)
