Morning Glory

Oval Leaf Tray

We offer an antique Meissen oval leaf tray with a branch handle. The leaf tray is crafted in fine white porcelain and decorated with two blue morning glory flowers on the center field with three small blossoms on the sides of the dish. The branch handle and the upper rim are trimmed in gold. The base is marked with blue under glaze crossed swords. There are two horizontal slashes across the swords which indicate that the dish was not first quality. The artist mark is painted in red.

The leaf tray measures 7 1/2” in length and 6 1/2” in width with a rim edge height of 1 1/8” and a height of 2” at the handle.

The Meissen morning glory leaf tray is presented in very good antique condition with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs.
