This is a fantastic Yemen Royalist Registered Airmail First Day Cover sent from General Bruce Conde in Camp Mansur, Yemen to Chuck F. Cwiakala in Chicago, Illinois on 6/28/1965.

A bit of lore for those interested - Bruce Conde was a Stateless rogue who styled himself a General in the Royalist Army of Yemen. He died in 1982. You can find his obituary online. Chuck Cwiakala was an avid stamp collector and dealer who died in 2024. They Yemen Royalist Country began in 1963, but collapse in 1970. Conde acted to disburse Yemeni Royalist Issues on behalf of the state. This material represents correspondence during the Royalist period. All covers went through the mail!
