1930's ECCO 10k Yellow Gold Diamond Carved Hematite Roman Soldier Ring 4.87g Size 8.25

Based on similar items, I believe this is a hematite stone. It features a carved Roman soldier design, with two, approximately 1 mm, diamonds accenting each side of the 10k band. It is signed "ECCO 10k" by the Electric Chain Company of Canada, a company that produced jewelry from 1916 until the mid-1950s. It is also inscribed with two sets of initials and the date 7•25•40. This ring is in good condition and shows appropriate signs of natural wear.
