The Russian Tea Room - "Slightly to the left of Carnegie Hall and 6 minutes, 23 seconds from Lincoln Center"

The condition is VERY GOOD based on our observation through the glass and colors are extremely vibrant in this fun piece. One visible sign of a stain. Encased in a lovely black colored metal frame (not a typical cheap plastic poster frame, this weighs over 7 pounds!). Good luck finding this poster for sale anywhere else and in this amazing condition!

"ABOUT RICHARD GIGLIO

Richard Giglio was raised in New Rochelle, New York, and graduated from Pratt Institute. As a young artist living in Manhattan, he worked as assistant to Gene Moore, Display Director of Tiffany & Co. and Bonwit Teller. Giglio also spent many years covering the couture collections in Paris, London and Milan: contributing his fashion illustrations to Glamour, Seventeen, Cosmopolitan, Harpers-Queen, and The New York Times.

Giglio participated in group and one-man shows at Donghia Inc. in New York City, White Walls Gallery in New York City, Lucky Street Gallery in Key West, Florida, Harrison Gallery in Boca Raton, Florida, Brown Gallagher Gallery in New York City, and Youngblood Gallery in Sag Harbor, New York. In 1999 he created and directed the exhibition décor for Theater de la Mode at the New York Costume Institute, at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

His work is collected by, Calvin Klein, Bruce Weber, Valentino, Ron Perlman, Jeff Klein, Mitchell Rubin, Sheri Donghia, Susan Slover, Baron and Baroness Philippe Lambert, France Sozzani, Geoffrey Ross.
