Listed here for sale is an authentic, original, McDonald's restaurant collector’s promotional glass mug, released as a commercial tie-in for the 1995 movie Batman Forever. It is made of etched glass, and actually is of fairly high quality compared to many similar advertising items that might be issued these days, which are typically made of plastic. This specific glass was manufactured in France (it says so on the bottom of the mug), while some others in the series were made instead in the USA, according to the online research I performed before posting here on eBay.
In fact, that's a very important point to make about this glass mug series itself. Originally consisting of (4) separate characters, each with their own collectible cup: Batman, Robin, Two-Face and the Riddler . . . this is for the one Batman glass only. You'll need to look elsewhere, if completing the full set of (4) is your ultimate goal. I wasn't regularly eating at McDonald's in the 1990s, and so this is the only glass mug I ever collected there. If I had the other (3), I'd put them together as a group, but unfortunately I don't.
Also yes, this product is a one-owner item. I was the original recipient (back in 1995). I've only now finally got around to selling it, having recently unpacked a seldom-used storage closet in my den.
