Large Antique London Sterling Silver Handled Letter Opener Kings Pattern 1895

On offer is a Genuine London Assayed Sterling Silver Handled Letter Opener bearing the Kings Pattern. The item has a steel blade with a mirror finish. Each Letter Opener is meticulously restored and silver finished to perfection.

The Silver Handle is hallmarked with the with the letter U for 1895 along with the Lion Passant, Leopard's Head and the Makers Mark which is TSWSWH - the makers mark for Holland, Aldwinckle & Slater (Thomas Alfred Slater, Walter Brindsley Slater & Henry Arthur Holland). The item is in great condition for its age as the photos reflect. The Paper Knife is 24 cm in length and weighs 70 grammes.
