On offer is a Genuine Birmingham Assayed Sterling Silver Handled Letter Opener bearing the Luxor Pattern. The item has a steel blade with a mirror finish. Each Letter Opener is meticulously restored and silver finished to perfection.

The Silver Handle is hallmarked with the with the letter G for 1906 along with the Lion Passant, Anchor and the Makers mark which is M.L - for the sought after Matthew Linwood. The item is in good condition for its age as the photos reflect, and hallmarks are only slightly rubbed. The Paper Knife is 20 cm in length and weighs 45 grammes.
