On offer is a Genuine Sheffield Assayed Letter Opener bearing a Mother of Pearl Handle. The item has a silver blade with a mirror finish. Each Letter Opener is meticulously restored and silver finished to perfection.

The Silver Blade is hallmarked with the with the letter P for 1808 along with the Lion Passant, Crown and the Makers mark which is MB - the makers mark for the sought after Moses Brent. The item is in fantastic condition for its age as the photos reflect, hallmarks are slightly rubbed. The Paper Knife is 18.5 cm in length and weighs 35 grammes.
