On offer is a Genuine Sheffield Assayed Sterling Silver Handled Letter Opener bearing the Devonshire Pattern. The item has a steel blade with a mirror finish. Each Letter Opener is meticulously restored and silver finished to perfection.

The Silver Handle is hallmarked with the with the letter G for 1924 along with the Lion Passant, Crown and the Makers Mark GHB - the mark for the sought after George Henry Biggin. The item is in fantastic condition for its age as the photos reflect, hallmarks are in pristine condition. The Paper Knife is 19.5 cm in length and weighs 25 grammes.
