On offer is a Genuine Sheffield Assayed Silver Ferruled Letter Opener bearing a Hand Carved Mother of Pearl Handle. The item has a steel blade with a mirror finish. Each Letter Opener is meticulously restored and silver finished to perfection.

The Silver Ferrule is hallmarked with the with the letter A for 1913 along with the Lion Passant, Crown and the Makers mark which is JY - the makers mark for the sought after John Yates. The item is in fantastic condition for its age as the photos reflect, hallmarks are in pristine condition. The Paper Knife is 21 cm in length and weighs 41 grammes.
