Service Note:
Correct pump pressure must be calibrated after installation. This can be done using a low pressure gauge such as the DESA HA1180 gauge or an equivalent.- This is done by turning your adjusting screw clockwise until the nose cone of the heater is glowing orange, except for the last inch of your nose cone.
- This will give you the optimum heat from your unit as well as the least amount of fumes. If fumes burn your eyes, discontinue use and consult a service technician.
- No warranty will be given for parts damaged during installation.
Warning:
Never service a heater while it is plugged in, operating or still hot. Severe burns and electrical shock can occur.
