Usage Info:
- Flake can be used either with a dry or wet gun.
- If using a wet gun, follow the mixing directions for a clear coat, as normal. Add the clear coat to the gun's paint cup first, followed by the required amount of metal flake. Give a quick shake and you're good to spray.
- Use approximately 2oz/50g of flake to a pint/500ml of clear, for an even distribution. Note: Some spray guns may require a bit more, some a bit less, but 2oz/50g to a pint/500ml is a good starting place for a first-time sprayer.
Sizing Info:
- .004" (100 micron) Small size flake is used with a 1.3mm nozzle size or larger.
- .008" (200 micron) Medium size flake is used with a 1.5mm nozzle size or larger.
- .015" (400 micron) Large size flake is used with a 1.8mm nozzle size or larger.
- .025" (650 micron) XL size flake is used with a 2.2mm nozzle size or higher.
