High quality optics and
long-distance ranging capability come together in the all new Ranger HD 10x42
Laser Range-finding Binocular.
The latest generation of
Vortex range-finding binocular, the Ranger HD 3000 has an extremely effective
angle compensated laser rangefinder featuring three targeting modes - Normal
Mode, First Mode and Last Mode - for any ranging environment.
The primary HCD
(Horizontal Component Distance) range mode provides key angle compensated range
information required by many users that require ranging capability over this
sort of distance in a simple, quick to read display.
The Ranger HD 3000 also
has a LOS (Line of Sight) range mode and scan feature and has a new red OLED
display keeping the readout clear in all lighting conditions.
The Ranger HD 3000 has
all the advantages of a high-definition binocular perfectly paired with an
angle compensated Rangefinder capable of ranging reflective targets to 3000
yards. The controls are simple to use and easily used with a single hand.
Runs on a standard CR123
battery.
• Intuitive Display - Easy-to-use menu with a
simple, clean display. Choice of yards or meters.
• HCD - Horizontal Component Distance (HCD)
mode for angle compensated ranging.
• LOS - Line of Sight (LOS) mode displays
actual line of sight range.
• Scan - This feature displays continual
distance readings when panning across a landscape or tracking a moving target.
• 'Normal' Mode - The standard mode providing
the target's range with the strongest range result. Recommended for most
situations.
• 'First' Mode - Displays the closest distance
when ranging - Ideal for ranging smaller targets in front of other larger, more
reflective targets.
• 'Last' Mode - Displays the furthest distance
when ranging - Ideal for ranging a specific target behind a group of objects
such as trees or bushes.
• HCD - Horizontal Component Distance (HCD)
mode for angle compensated ranging.
• Easy-to-use Menu - Intuitive, easy-to-use
menus feature a simple, clean illuminated display.
• Ranging Format - Range in yards or meters.
HD Optical System - HD (High
Density) extra-low dispersion glass delivers impressive resolution and colour
fidelity, resulting in High Definition images.
XR Lens Coatings - Vortex
proprietary XR anti-reflective coatings, fully multi-coated on all air-to-glass
lens surfaces, increase light transmission for maximum brightness.
Phase Correction - Used on roof
prism models only - coating enhances resolution and contrast.
Construction Features:
Roof Prisms - Valued for greater
durability and a more compact size.
Waterproof - Optics are sealed
with O-rings to prevent moisture, dust, and debris from getting inside the
binocular.
Fog-proof - Nitrogen gas purging
guarantees superior fogproof and waterproof performance.
Rubber Armour - Provides a
secure, non-slip grip, and durable external protection.
ArmorTek - Exterior lenses are
protected by ArmorTek ? an ultra-hard, scratch-resistant compound that repels
oil, dirt and the corrosive salts of fingerprints.
Convenience Features:
Multi-Position Eyecups - Twist
up and down to precise, intermediate settings to maximize custom fit for
comfortable viewing with or without spectacles.
Red OLED Display - The latest
display technology ensures the readout is clear in all lighting conditions.
Left eye Diopter - Adjusts for
differences in a user's eyes.
Tripod Adaptable - Compatible
with a tripod adapter, allowing use on a tripod or car window
mount. Adapter sold separately.
