Hydraulic Seal Clasper & Seal Stretcher Rod Piston Seal Tool Glyd Ring Expander
Hydraulic Seal Clasper Description: The seal clasper is design to push PTFE ring back into the groove of piston. Applicable outer diameter range is 50-360mm (2''-14''). Stainless steel belt can be adjusted by the size of the sealing parts. The triangle PU pad can prevent the damage from the press. Specification: Type:Hydraulic Seal Clasper Material: Metal+Rubber Size: 40*12*6cm Weight: 2kg Applicable outer diameter range: 50-360mm (2''-14'') Applicable Industries: Machinery Repair Shops, Retail, Construction works
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Seal Stretcher Description: The seal stretcher is used to expand teflon seals to get over the piston ledges. seals such as the ps1800, this tools makes the installation so much easier. Install the piston seal on the approite ledge. The nut on the top is connected to a threaded rod and this causes the expansion of this tool expands the size of the seal in a uniform manner, so it can be installed easier. This seal stretcher has the handle for easier expansion of the seals.
The stretcher includes the following: 8 stepped segments 1 top nut/handle one o-ring one flat base four screws one threaded rod with a piston pre-installed one stop nut one aluminum support base one spring
Specification: Type: PTFE Piston Seal Stretcher Material: Metal+Rubber Applicable inner diameter range: 35-250mm Maxium height: 7.5mm Application: SEAL STRETCHER helps to install PTFE piston seals by expanding sizes.
Instructions for use: 1. Fit the rod through the aluminium support 2. Push the spring into the aluminium support 3. Screw the support onto the base 4. Install the stop nut 5. Using the O-ring to bind them, install the stepped segments and align them to the grooves on the base. 6. Hook the top under the O-ring, then push down. Start with a few, and then add one at a time. 7. Install the top nut/handle, then make final height adjustment, if necessary. 8. Heat the PTFE seal in the oven at 248F° (120 C°) for 2 to 3 minutes. Or you can use hot water or oil, heat the PTFE seal to 130° to 140° F (55° to 60° C) for about five minutes. (This step is necessary to soften the seal. Do not stretch a seal without heating it first as it will break.) 9. Fit the seal over the cone on a suitable step and press down firmly and smoothly on the handle to stretch the ring.
