May 2nd 2015 Kentucky Derby 141 Horse Racing Program Churchill Downs Race Course


The 2015 Kentucky Derby, the 141st running of the event, was won by American Pharoah. Ridden by jockey Victor Espinoza and trained by Bob Baffert, American Pharoah crossed the finish line with a winning time of 2:03.02. This victory marked Espinoza's third Kentucky Derby win and his second consecutive, having won in 2014 with California Chrome. It was also Baffert's fourth Kentucky Derby victory, and his first since 2002. 

American Pharoah, the odds-on favorite at 5-2, defeated a field of contenders, holding off Firing Line (who finished second) and Dortmund (who finished third) down the stretch. Firing Line had 9-1 odds and Dortmund had 4-1 odds. American Pharoah's win was notable as it started his journey to becoming the 12th winner of the American Triple Crown. 

The race was held on May 2, 2015, at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky. A record 170,513 people attended the event, which also set a wagering record with $137.9 million in parimutuel betting. 

These programs are from a warehouse find and are new/unused coming out of the original case packs from the printing press! They have been stored in BCW acid free bags with backing boards. They may have small imperfections from being stored the last several years but they are in very good to near mint. Photo is an example of the one you will receive and they are all in similar condition!
