849055-6C1 HP Pavilion 510-a010 Super Multi DVD Write Optical Drive GUD1N w/Bezel

Pulled from a working Windows 10 64-bit system HP Pavilion 510-a010 Mid-Tower PC.

Successfully played a Music CD and a DVD Movie using free version of VLC Media Player 64-bit.

Successfully burned a DATA CD and a DATA DVD using free version of AnyDVD 64-bit.

This drive has a Silver/Gray front bezel curved on left side (see pictures) designed for HP Pavilion 510-a010  Mid-Tower PC  - please check compatibility before buying.

Note - Picture of Mid-Tower PC Label is provided for references only (not included).

Note - to remove existing drive; remove side cover, disconnect power and SATA cables; then, squeeze the black plastic catch upwards on the left rear of drive and push drive out the front of the case.  No need to remove the front panel or bezel from existing drive.  Simply insert this drive through the front of the case until you hear (or feel) the black plastic tab click.  Reconnect cables and put side cover back on the computer.
