Movie Description - The Renfro Valley Barn Dance was first heard on WLW from the Cincinnati Music Hall on October 9, 1937. Later they would move the show to Dayton Ohio, at the Memorial Auditorium. In 1939 the Renfro Valley Barndance opened its doors in Renfro Valley, Kentucky.
