RARE STEEL PAINT ROLLER TRAY GREEN 1960s STEAMPUNK or RUSTIC DIORAMA DECOR, SOLD IN ST. CLAIR SHORES, MICHIGAN, NEVER USED WITH PAINT

This vintage green steel paint roller tray is sturdy, weighing over a pound, and has obviously never been used with paint. I found it in an architectural salvage store in North Woods region Wisconsin. Has two spots of adhesive residue inside near top. It’s a little rusty in some inside corners and on top of the rounded edges, but charmingly has some of its original advertising sticker remaining enough to know that it was sold by a company that declared itself as having “the world’s only complete line of paint supplies.” It was sold at a store located at 22601 Mack Avenue in St. Clair Shores, MI. Was made with an elevated piece connected underneath through the four small holes at one end, however there’s no evidence of paint scratches on either side, indicating it was removed carefully. Wonderful patina, dark green paint is still so nice! A one-of-a-kind piece of American craftsmanship that could easily become a cool background or other piece in a steampunk art creation or a diorama type rustic display box for home decor. You could easily string wire or twine through the holes to hang on a wall. Sizes and more details shown in photos.
