The F-117 Nighthawk Stealth Fighter Is The Main Stealth Attack Aircraft Of The United States Air Force, Developed By For Lockheed Martin Corporation. This Aircraft Has Excellent Radar, Infrared, And Visual Stealth Capabilities, Mainly Used To Carry Laser Guided Bombs For Precise Attacks On Targets. The Design Of The F-117 Began In The 1970s, Aimed At Breaking Through Enemy Air Defense Systems And Countering Potential Threats From The Soviet Union And Other Adversaries. The F-117 Made Its First Test Flight In 1981 And Entered Service In 1983. In The Gulf War, The F-117 Performed Particularly Well, Deploying 1300 Sorties And Destroying 40% Of Strategic Targets Without Any Losses. However, In The 1999 Kosovo War, An F-117 Was Shot Down By The Yugoslav Army, Which Was Its Only Combat Mistake.
