This UK 50p coin is the very first to ever feature a Dinosaur! Excitingly, this is also the first coin in a series from The Royal Mint which celebrates the Discovery of Dinosaurs.

The first coin in the series features the Megalosaurus. The Megalosaurus is thought to be one of the first dinosaurs discovered, making this a particularly special first coin to collect.
