The Australian Emu 2025 silver coin is struck from pure Ag.9999 silver, weighing one troy ounce with a maximum diameter of 40.9 mm. The mintage is limited to only 30,000 pieces. Each coin is legal tender in Australia under the Currency Act 1965 and is delivered in original protective capsules ensuring pristine conditions for collectors and investors alike.
The obverse features the official portrait of King Charles III, who ascended the throne after Queen Elizabeth II. The obverse design by Dan Thorne also includes the inscription “CHARLES III,” the issuing country, and the face value. The effigy was officially approved by His Majesty King Charles III.
The reverse depicts a mature emu walking alongside five young chicks against a striking desert landscape with sky and sun, symbolizing the rugged beauty of Australia's outback. The design also includes the inscription "AUSTRALIAN EMU," the year of issue, the purity, and the mintmark “P.” The coin incorporates an advanced micro-laser engraved security feature, visible only under magnification, ensuring authenticity and enhancing its collectible value.
