this is a very special and beautiful belt handmade entirely by me. First the leather is black 5mm thick English bridal leather made by Bakers of Collyton in Devon and is really supple and amazingly tough. Bakers is the last oak bark tannery in the uk and has a history dating back to roman tines. it's riveted used solid copper rivets to last a lifetime. the buckle is sand cast and hand finished solid brass. this belt will literally last a lifetime(or2).
I don't punch the holes until I receive your bespoke sizes.
just looking at the other belts for sale on ebay mine may seem overpriced but please don't be deceived. the leather alone is very expensive and for good reason. my belt looks unlike any other because its not mass produced using cheap materials. the buckle cost alone is as much as many of the belts sell for in total.
it's 1 1/4 inch wide and requires the purchaser to specify the size from the turn of the buckle to a comfortable hole in an existing belt.(inch or mm)
this will then become the centre hole of 7 and will allow for a lifetime of shrinking and expanding waistlines!
